CNC spindle repair for Denmark
Our workshop is in Sankt Augustin, near Bonn, and it is the only place we repair spindles. There is no Danish branch and no Danish staff. Denmark is close enough that a spindle collected in Jutland in the morning is often on our bench the following working day, which keeps the freight leg cheap.
Getting the spindle here
One short trailer run from Jutland
Both countries are in the EU, so the spindle moves as internal freight with no customs paperwork. Practically every Danish forwarder runs daily groupage to the Rhineland, and the road distance is short enough that a pallet often arrives the next working day. On-site work in Denmark is possible by prior technical arrangement only, and for most faults it is cheaper to send the spindle than to fly a technician to it.
The market
Wind, pumps and precision subcontracting
Danish work tends to be precise rather than heavy. Wind turbine component shops around Esbjerg and central Jutland, pump and valve manufacturing, medical and hearing-instrument subcontracting, plus a dense layer of small job shops. The spindles reflect that: mid-range milling spindles from vertical centres, turning spindles from small bar machines, and a good number of high-speed units from aluminium and composite work. Fine chatter marks and slow bearing degradation are more typical here than the crash damage we see from heavier industries.

Questions
Denmark spindle repair — frequently asked
After the spindle arrives and has been stripped and measured. We issue a written quotation before any repair work starts, and nothing is done before you accept it. A rough indication from photographs and the nameplate is possible, but it is an indication only and we will label it as such.
Typically 5 to 10 working days from arrival, depending on parts availability and what the teardown reveals. Treat that as an estimate rather than a committed date; a binding date is only valid if we confirm it in writing. From Denmark the transit adds little, but it is still your forwarder's schedule and not ours.
No. We are an independent workshop with no manufacturer authorisation and no factory training behind us. Bearings and seals come from the same bearing makers the builders use, bought on the open market. If your machine is still under a builder's warranty, check what an independent repair does to it before you send anything.
