Urgent
Emergency spindle repair
A failed spindle stops the machine and often a whole production line. For urgent cases, contact us during business hours: we prioritise the request, help with removal and shipping and tell you honestly how quickly the spindle can be back. We do not promise times we cannot keep; every date depends on parts and on what the teardown reveals.
Scope
How we help in an urgent case
Speed in an emergency comes mostly from good preparation: the right information at the start, a fast route to the workshop and a decision on parts as soon as the findings are clear.
Quick first assessment
From photos, the alarm text and a short description we give a first assessment on the phone or by e-mail, often before the spindle is removed.
Removal and shipping
We advise on safe removal and packing and help organise express transport, or remove the spindle on site where possible.
Prioritised inspection
Urgent spindles are inspected first, and you receive the findings and the quote as early as possible.
Parts and alternatives
Where parts take long, we discuss alternatives: other bearing sources, a rebuild of your spare spindle or, in individual cases, an exchange unit.

Checklist
Please send this right away
The first hour is often lost to finding information. Photos of the nameplate and the tool interface, together with the alarm or a short description of the failure, let us assess the case straight away. A phone number and a good time to call mean we can clarify open questions directly instead of by email.

When it is needed
Typical emergencies
In an emergency, the first question is whether the spindle can still be saved quickly or needs a full repair. A seized spindle, crash damage or a tool that will not clamp or release each call for a different first step. These are the emergencies we see most often and how we usually approach them.
Spindle seized
The spindle has seized or will not turn freely. Do not try to run it again; further attempts can damage the shaft and housing.
Crash damage
After a collision, runout or noise is suddenly much worse. Measurement shows whether the shaft, taper or bearings are affected.
Tool will not clamp or release
The machine stops at tool change. Often the clamping set or the release cylinder is the cause, which can sometimes be repaired quickly.
Questions
Emergency spindle repair — frequently asked
No. We are reachable during business hours and prioritise urgent cases. Outside these hours, send the enquiry form; we will contact you first thing the next working day.
That depends on parts and on the findings. A typical repair takes five to ten working days from arrival; urgent jobs are prioritised. A binding date is given only in writing.
Prioritising itself does not change the repair scope. Additional costs can arise from express shipping or express parts; these are agreed with you beforehand.
On-site work is possible after prior arrangement and depends on distance and availability. For many cases, shipping the spindle to the workshop is faster.
