Many Mazak machines follow the done-in-one principle: turning spindle, milling motor spindle and driven tools in one machine. When one assembly stops, the whole part stops. We source milling and turning spindles, bearings, clamping systems and rotary unions for Mazak, as new, reconditioned or exchange units, and ship them from our workshop in Germany.
Series and assemblies
Integrex, Variaxis, QTN and VCN: what wears
On Integrex multitasking machines the milling motor spindle in the swivel head carries most of the load: high speeds, frequent tool changes, work at an angle. Depending on the version it has an HSK, Capto or KM interface, which determines the drawbar and collet. On five-axis Variaxis machines the motor spindle and through-spindle coolant are just as critical.
Quick Turn Nexus (QTN) lathes have a belt-driven main spindle, a rotating chuck cylinder and, in MY/MSY versions, driven tools in the turret. VCN vertical centres use a classic 40-taper spindle with drawbar. For all these series we identify parts by the unit number on the nameplate.

How to order
Ordering parts for Mazak
One Mazak machine can carry two or three different spindle units, so the first step is to establish exactly which one is meant.

Machine plate
Send a photo of the machine plate with model and serial number and tell us the Mazatrol control (Matrix, SmoothX and so on).

Unit nameplate
Photograph the spindle or motor nameplate. If it is out of reach, tell us which unit has stopped: turning, milling or driven tool.

Identification and quote
We identify an original or equivalent-quality part or a reconditioned unit. Availability and delivery time are confirmed after your enquiry.

Mazak parts: frequently asked questions
The head and spindle design changed between generations, so we check compatibility by the unit number and the machine serial number.
The rotary union is replaced on its own. It is worth checking whether coolant has reached the spindle bearings.
Yes, an exchange unit is one of the options we look at during identification. Availability is confirmed after your enquiry.
Bearing and drawbar replacement is done in our workshop. Installation on the machine at your site can be arranged by prior technical agreement.
