Motor spindles and electrospindles to order

A motor spindle is the core of a modern machining centre: motor, bearings, sensors and tool clamping in one housing. When it fails, we get the machine back into production. We source a new, rebuilt or exchange motor spindle on the European market, inspect it in our workshop and fit it on request. We also supply the components for rebuilding your own spindle.

Range

Which motor spindles we source

Spindles with an integrated motor differ in power, speed, tool interface, cooling and sensors. That is why we identify the unit from the complete nameplate and machine data.

Machining centre motor spindles

High-speed spindles of vertical, horizontal and 5-axis machining centres with HSK-A, SK or BT interface and through-spindle coolant.

Electrospindles for wood and stone

Spindles of CNC routers and centres for furniture production, plastics, composites and stone, including HSK-F63 and ISO 30.

Grinding electrospindles

High-speed spindles for internal and external grinding with liquid cooling.

Lathe motor spindles

Built-in spindle motors of turning centres and sub-spindles, and driven tool spindles.

We work with the motor spindle families found in workshops across Europe, such as Kessler, Weiss (Siemens), GMN, Fischer, IBAG, HSD and Step-Tec. For each of them we source a new or rebuilt unit or the components: bearings, sensors, seals, clamping systems and rotary unions.

Options

New, rebuilt or exchange electrospindle

With motor spindles the choice of option has a large effect on budget and lead time, so the quote describes each one.

New motor spindle

A new unit in original or equivalent quality, matching power, speed, interface and sensors. The quote states which it is.

Rebuilt electrospindle

New bearings and seals, stator test or rewinding, rotor balancing and a run-in with temperature and vibration recorded.

Exchange unit

A rebuilt electrospindle of the same type in exchange for yours: practical when the machine has to run again as soon as possible.

Ordering

How to identify an electrospindle

With a motor spindle every line on the nameplate matters. The more complete the data, the more precise the match:

  1. 1

    Nameplate photo

Send a photo of the spindle plate: manufacturer, type, serial number, power, speed, voltage. Add the machine model and a photo of the unit.

  2. 2

    Identification

We determine the exact version: interface, sensor, cooling and lubrication.

  3. 3

    Quote

You receive the options, new, rebuilt, exchange or repair of your own unit, with price and delivery time once availability is confirmed.

  4. 4

    Inspection and fitting

The spindle is inspected in our workshop, then shipped to you or fitted, connected and run in on the machine.

  • Manufacturer and type of motor spindle
  • Serial number and year of manufacture
  • Power, speed, voltage
  • Interface: HSK-A63, HSK-F63, SK40, BT40 etc.
  • Sensor type and connector
  • Cooling and lubrication

Advantages

Why order your motor spindle from us

European sourcing

Access to new and rebuilt motor spindles from European manufacturers and their components.

Inspection before shipping

We test insulation, runout and completeness before the unit leaves our workshop.

Connection and run-in

We fit the spindle, check the sensor, run it in and issue a measurement report.

One quote

Spindle, shipping and optional fitting in one quote; within the EU without customs paperwork.

Questions

Electrospindles to order: frequently asked questions

Send the nameplate and photos. We look for rebuilt and exchange units on the European market, and we can rebuild your own spindle in our workshop with new bearings and a new sensor.

Yes. Bearing sets, sensors, seals, drawbars and rotary unions are supplied separately, for fitting by your own service team or in our workshop.

We measure winding insulation resistance, taper runout, and vibration and temperature during a run-in across the working speed range. The values go into the report.

Yes. During fitting we check the sensor and connections, run the spindle in on the machine and agree the parameters with your service engineer.

We find the electrospindle or the components you need

Send a photo of the motor spindle nameplate and the machine model, and we offer a new, rebuilt or exchange unit or a repair of your own.
