Spindle bearings for CNC machines to order
We supply super-precision spindle bearings to order: angular contact bearings in ISO P4 and P2, hybrid bearings with ceramic balls, NN30 double-row cylindrical roller bearings, axial angular contact bearings and matched sets with the required preload. We source them on the European market, check them in our workshop and ship them to you anywhere in Europe and beyond. On request we fit them straight into your spindle.
Range
Which spindle bearings we supply
For an exact spindle bearing replacement the contact angle, accuracy class, ball material, cage, set arrangement and preload class all count; dimensions are only part of the picture. We therefore identify the bearing from its full designation and offer the options: the bearing specified by the spindle maker or an equivalent from an established European manufacturer.
Super-precision angular contact
Series 70, 72 and 719 with 15° or 25° contact angle, accuracy classes ISO P4 and P2 (equivalent to ABEC 7 and ABEC 9). The basis of most milling, lathe and motor spindles.
Hybrid bearings with ceramic balls
Silicon nitride balls, steel rings: lower mass and less heat at high speed, longer grease life. For high-speed electrospindles and motor spindles.
NN30 cylindrical roller bearings
Double-row roller bearings with tapered bore for the front and rear bearing positions of heavy lathe and milling spindles. Radial clearance is set by the drive-up on the taper.
Axial angular contact bearings
Double-direction thrust ball bearings with 60° contact angle and similar designs that run together with NN30 bearings and take the axial load of a lathe spindle.
Matched sets
Pairs, triplets and quadruplets in DB (back-to-back), DF (face-to-face), DT (tandem), TBT and QBC arrangements, universally or set-matched with matched bore and outside diameter tolerances.
Preload classes
Light, medium and heavy preload (L, M, H and intermediate classes) to the manufacturer's designation. Preload is chosen for the spindle design and its speed range.
We work with spindles of all makes and source bearings across the European market. Quotes typically involve bearing families from makers such as FAG (Schaeffler), SKF, GMN, NSK, Barden, Gamet and Timken. For every item we state manufacturer, series and accuracy class, so you see exactly what you receive.
Ordering
How to order spindle bearings
The most precise basis is the marking on the ring face or on the box. A designation such as B7014-C-T-P4S-UL or 7014 CD/P4ADBA contains the series, bore, contact angle, cage, accuracy class, set arrangement and preload, and that is the data we decode.
-
1
Marking or photo
Send a photo of the old bearing marking, the spindle nameplate or the relevant page of the documentation. The old bearing itself works too: we read it in the workshop.
-
2
Identification and decoding
We determine type, accuracy class, ball material and set arrangement and check them against the spindle design. If the marking is worn, dimensions and machine model help.
-
3
Quote with options
We offer the specified bearing and equivalent options; availability and delivery time are confirmed with the quote and the choice is agreed with you.
-
4
Delivery or fitting
We check the set in our workshop and ship it by courier, or we fit the bearings in our workshop with balancing and run-in.
Why us
Why order spindle bearings through us
A spindle workshop
Bearings are identified by people who fit spindle bearings every day and know which arrangement a spindle needs.
Checked before shipping
Before dispatch we check marking, accuracy class and set matching against your request.
Fitting and run-in
We fit the bearings with the correct preload, balance the spindle and run it in with temperature monitoring.
Shipping across Europe
Courier delivery to any address in Europe and worldwide, packed to protect precision parts.
Simple paperwork
Within the EU no customs formalities; outside the EU we help with the export documents.
Clear specification
Every quote names manufacturer, series, class and arrangement, so you can compare options directly.

Repair and related parts
Together with the bearings it makes sense to renew the seals and check the drawbar and bearing seats. These pages help plan the whole repair.
Questions
Questions about spindle bearings
Yes, and for high-speed spindles it is often worthwhile. A change of accuracy class or a hybrid version is matched to the design: fits, preload and lubrication have to suit the new bearing. Our recommendation comes with the quote.
DB is a back-to-back pair (O arrangement), DF face-to-face (X arrangement), DT tandem. TBT and QBC are sets of three and four bearings in which tandem pairs sit back-to-back. The arrangement has to match your spindle, so we identify it from the old marking.
Send the machine model or spindle nameplate and the bearing dimensions: bore, outside diameter and width. Even better, send us the old bearings; in the workshop we determine contact angle and arrangement.
Angular contact spindle bearings work as a matched set, so we supply the complete set; that way load and preload are shared correctly. Single positions, such as the NN30 roller bearing at the rear, are supplied individually.
Yes. In our workshop we measure the seats, set preload, balance and run in the spindle. You can also order the bearings alone for your own maintenance department.
Request
Send the marking and we identify the bearings
Send your request through the form or via the contact page. A spare bearing set for your key spindles kept on the shelf shortens downtime considerably for plants running two or three shifts.
