Spindle seals and front bearing parts to order
Seals protect the spindle bearings from coolant, swarf and dust, while sealing air keeps the bearing chamber under a slight overpressure. Once a labyrinth is worn or an O-ring has lost its elasticity, emulsion reaches the bearings and shortens their life many times over. We supply labyrinth and radial seals, O-rings, sealing air components, front covers, spacer sleeves and spindle nuts to order, identified from the spindle model.
Range
Which seals and parts we supply
Most of these parts are small and inexpensive compared with bearings, yet they decide how long a repair lasts. We source parts in original or equivalent quality on the European market, with the same dimensions and materials.
Labyrinth seals
Rotating and stationary labyrinth rings, deflectors and flinger discs for the front bearing. Exact clearances matter: they decide how well the labyrinth throws off coolant and works together with the sealing air.
Radial shaft seals
Lip seals and radial seals for lower-speed spindles, gearboxes and drive housings, in NBR, FKM or PTFE depending on temperature and medium.
O-rings
O-rings for covers, flanges, lubrication and cooling channels and release cylinders. We match size and material (NBR, FKM and others) to each position, and for a rebuild as a complete kit for the spindle.
Sealing air
Restrictors, jets, filter elements, fittings and ring parts of the sealing air channels. The correct air flow through the labyrinth is the simplest protection of the bearings against emulsion.
Front covers and flanges
Front covers, bearing caps and flanges, including those with an integrated labyrinth. A cover damaged in a crash changes the clearances and opens a path for coolant.
Sleeves, rings and spindle nuts
Spacer sleeves and rings between the bearings, precision spindle nuts and locking elements. Bearing preload depends on nut face runout and on the parallelism of the rings.
Signs
When spindle seals are due for replacement
Traces of emulsion under the cover, white foam in the lubricant or corrosion on the front bearing are typical signs that a seal is already letting coolant through. The problem grows when the machine stands without sealing air, for example over weekends with the compressor switched off: emulsion settles in the labyrinth and is carried further at start-up. Points to check:
- Coolant or corrosion traces under the front cover
- Emulsion in the lubricant or at the spindle drain
- Front bearing temperature rising after machine cleaning
- Scratches or dents on the cover after a crash
- Unstable sealing air pressure or flow
- Loose or damaged spindle nut
Ordering
How to order seals for a spindle
-
1
Spindle data
Send a photo of the nameplate, the machine model and a photo of the spindle front. If the spindle is already dismantled, photos of the parts and dimensions from the drawing.
-
2
Complete kit
We identify all seals and rings worth replacing during this repair, so the spindle is reassembled without old parts.
-
3
Quote
You receive a parts list with options, original or equivalent, and prices. Availability and delivery time are confirmed with the quote.

4
Shipping or fitting
We ship the kit by courier, or fit the seals and set the sealing air in our workshop or on the machine.
Why us
Why order seals from us
Seals and fastening parts are specified for a particular design, so we work from the spindle model and drawings rather than general catalogues.
European sourcing
Parts in original or equivalent quality from the European market, identified by a spindle workshop.
Complete repair kit
All rings, seals and sleeves in one order, so the repair runs without interruptions.
Fitting and check
We fit the seals and check labyrinth clearances and sealing air flow.
Courier shipping
Small kits travel conveniently by courier to any address in Europe and worldwide.
Simple paperwork
Within the EU no customs formalities; outside the EU we help with the export documents.

Questions
Questions about spindle seals
Some of them, such as cover O-rings or sealing air components, can be replaced on the machine. The labyrinth and front bearing seals are usually replaced when the spindle is dismantled, which is also when we assess the bearings.
Clean, dry air creates a slight overpressure in the labyrinth and pushes coolant and dust outwards. We supply restrictors, filters and fittings and help set the correct flow.
Ideally the spindle model or the repair kit number. Otherwise dimensions and fitting position are enough: we choose rings in the right material for the temperature and coolant type.
Yes. Precision nuts, spacer sleeves and rings are identified from the spindle model or drawing, and if needed we finish the rings to the required preload in our workshop.
Yes, and that is the most convenient option: during the repair in our workshop we fit a new set of seals, bearings and fasteners and then run the spindle in on the test stand.
