Spindle motors for CNC machines to order

We identify and supply asynchronous and synchronous main spindle motors for CNC machines: new, professionally rebuilt and exchange. Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Heidenhain, and the motors of Okuma and Mazak machines, identified from the nameplate, part number or machine model. We source on the European market and handle inspection, shipping and fitting from our workshop in Germany.

Range

Which spindle motors we supply

A spindle motor is tied to the drive, the CNC parameters and the feedback sensor, so we identify it from the full designation on the nameplate. For every request we offer the available versions, from a new motor to an exchange unit when the machine has to run again quickly.

Fanuc αi, αiI, βiI

αi and αiI series spindle motors for machining centres and lathes, compact βiI motors for smaller machines; together with the built-in αi sensors and fan units.

Siemens 1PH7, 1PH8, 1FE1

1PH7 and 1PH8 asynchronous main spindle motors with air or liquid cooling, and 1FE1 built-in synchronous motors: stators and rotors for motor spindles.

Mitsubishi SJ-V, SJ-D

Spindle motors for machines with Mitsubishi controls, including the standard encoders and terminal boxes.

Heidenhain QAN

QAN asynchronous spindle motors for machines with Heidenhain TNC controls, with built-in speed sensor.

Okuma, Mazak and others

Spindle motors of Okuma and Mazak machines and of other Japanese and European builders, identified from the part number on the plate or in the machine documentation.

Motor components

Cooling fans, terminal boxes, rotor bearings, temperature sensors and encoders, for restoring a motor without replacing the complete unit.

Supply options: a new motor in original or equivalent quality, a professionally rebuilt motor with insulation test and run-in, or an exchange unit: you receive a ready motor and return the old one. If only the winding is damaged and housing and rotor are sound, spindle motor rewinding in our workshop is an economical alternative.

Ordering

How to order a spindle motor

The main source of data is the motor nameplate: type, part number, power, speed, voltage and serial number. Together with the machine and control model, that is enough to offer an exact replacement.

  1. 1

    Nameplate and photos

Send a photo of the motor nameplate, an overall view and the machine model. If the motor has failed, the drive alarm code is useful too.

  2. 2

    Options

We check designation, feedback sensor, cooling type and flange, and offer a new, rebuilt or exchange motor, or a repair of yours.

  3. 3

    Quote

The quote describes the condition of each option; availability and delivery time are confirmed with it.

  4. 4

    Shipping or fitting

The motor is checked in our workshop and shipped, or we fit it: removal, installation, connection and a test run with drive set-up.

Why us

Why order your spindle motor through us

European sourcing

Access to new, rebuilt and exchange motors on the European market, identified by a spindle workshop.

Tested before shipping

We check insulation resistance, windings, sensor and rotor rotation before the motor leaves the workshop.

Fitting and start-up

We fit the motor, connect the sensor and check spindle operation across the full speed range.

Shipping across Europe

Large motors go by freight forwarder on a pallet, compact ones by courier, to any address in Europe and worldwide.

Simple paperwork

Within the EU no customs formalities; outside the EU we help with export and return documents.

Repair as an alternative

We compare replacement with rewinding or repair of your motor so you can choose the best option.

Voltage spikes and emergency stops at speed stress winding insulation and sensors, so together with the motor it often pays to check the encoder and the spindle bearings.

Questions

Questions about spindle motors

That depends on the condition of housing, rotor and sensor. If only the winding is damaged, rewinding is usually more economical; if the rotor or the seats are affected, or downtime is critical, an exchange or new motor is the better choice. We compare both in one quote.

You receive a ready, tested motor of the same type and return your old one to us. This shortens machine downtime: the changeover can be planned before the old motor reaches our workshop.

The motor has to match in type, sensor, flange, cooling and drive parameters. We identify it from the nameplate and the control model and agree any differences with you in advance.

Yes, including Siemens 1FE1 stators and rotors and similar designs. Mounting the rotor on the shaft and balancing are done in our workshop as part of the motor spindle rebuild.

Yes. We fit the motor, connect power cables and sensor, check the drive parameters and carry out a test run, in our workshop or on site by arrangement.

Request

Send the nameplate and we offer motor options

Send the nameplate photo and the machine model through the form or via the contact page. Motors can be shipped to our workshop for inspection, repair or exchange.
