Hermle Spindle Parts and Motor Spindles
Hermle C-series five-axis machining centres — C 22, C 32, C 42, C 52 and others — work in toolmaking, medical technology and precision engineering. Their motor spindles are built to tight thermal and geometric tolerances, so every replacement part has to match the original version exactly. We source Hermle motor spindles and parts on the European market, check them in our workshop in Germany and, on request, fit them and run the spindle in.
Range
What we supply for Hermle motor spindles
Hermle offers several motor spindle versions for the C series — from high-torque spindles for steel to high-speed spindles for fine milling, with SK40, HSK-A63 or, on the larger models, HSK-A100. The spindle nameplate shows exactly which version is in your machine.
Motor spindles
New, rebuilt and exchange motor spindles for C-series machines in the same speed, power and interface version.
Bearing sets
Super-precision angular contact bearings from makers such as GMN, FAG or SKF with the correct preload, plus spacers and locknuts.
Cooling circuit
O-rings and cooling jacket seals, temperature sensors — the parts the thermal stability of the spindle depends on.
Clamping and coolant
Drawbars and spring stacks, SK40 and HSK collets, unclamp pistons and rotary unions for coolant through the spindle.
Benefits
Why working with us is straightforward
Original or equivalent
Hermle parts and equivalents from leading European makers; the quote states which one you get.
Precision checked
Spindle units are checked for taper runout and smooth rotation before dispatch.
Thermal run-in
After fitting, the spindle is run in while bearing and cooling jacket temperatures are monitored.
Exchange units
An exchange motor spindle keeps machine downtime short.
Across Europe
Shipping by courier or freight forwarder in a rigid case; inside the EU without customs paperwork.
A clear quote
New, rebuilt, exchange or single parts — each option set out in one written quote.
How to order
How to order Hermle parts
-
1
Spindle nameplate
Photograph the machine nameplate (model, serial number) and the motor spindle nameplate with its unit number. The Hermle unit number identifies the version unambiguously.
-
2
What happened
Tell us what happened: a collision, noise, heat or loss of clamping. This shows whether a complete unit or individual parts is the right choice.
-
3
Quote
We set out the options; availability and delivery are confirmed in writing.
-
4
Delivery or fitting
We ship the part to you, or fit it in our workshop, balance the rotor and run the spindle in.

FAQ
Hermle spindle parts — common questions
It depends on what was damaged. New bearings and a shaft check are often enough; if the shaft or the bearing seats are deformed, an exchange unit is the better choice. We assess this from the symptoms and our measurements.
The cooling jacket keeps the spindle in a narrow temperature band. Seals in the correct material keep the circuit tight and preserve the thermal stability the machine was designed for.
Within the same series a different speed range is sometimes possible. We check compatibility with the machine and the CNC before we offer it.
Removal and installation on site are arranged through our on-site spindle service. Fitting parts into the spindle itself is done in our workshop.
The motor spindle number, the taper type (SK40 or HSK) and, if available, the drawbar part number from the documentation.

The unit number, the machine model and a short description of what happened are enough. We identify the parts and send you the options in a written quote.
