Doosan Spindles and Spare Parts

Doosan (now DN Solutions) is one of the most widespread machine brands in metalworking shops: Puma and Lynx lathes and DNM vertical centres run in large plants and small job shops alike. Most of these machines use Fanuc controls and spindle motors, which makes parts quick and precise to identify. We source them on the European market and ship them from our workshop in Germany.

Puma, Lynx, DNM and DVF: the most requested parts

Puma lathes and the compact Lynx have a main spindle belt-driven by a Fanuc motor, a hydraulic rotating chuck cylinder and, in versions with driven tools, a drive in the turret. Typical orders are spindle bearings, belts, seals and rotating cylinders.

DNM vertical centres have a BT40 spindle coupled directly to the motor, while DVF five-axis machines use a spindle built for heavy milling with through-spindle coolant. For these we supply spindle units, drawbars, disc springs, rotary unions and position sensors.

How to order

How to order a part for your Doosan

For a Doosan we need two plates: the machine plate and, if the drive is involved, the Fanuc spindle motor nameplate.

  1. 1

    Machine plate

Photograph the plate with the model (for example Puma, Lynx, DNM) and serial number, which defines the spindle configuration.

  2. 2

    Motor or unit nameplate

For a motor, the nameplate with the A06B code; for a spindle, the marking on the housing. If it is out of reach, describe the symptoms.

  3. 3

    Identification and quote

We select an original or equivalent-quality part or a reconditioned unit; availability and delivery time are confirmed after your enquiry.

  4. 4

    Testing and fitting

We check the part, ship it to you or fit it with run-in and balancing.

FAQ

Doosan parts: frequently asked questions

It is the same machine range under the company’s new name. We identify parts by model and serial number, whatever the logo.

Most often it is the bearings or the belt. After diagnosis we tell you whether new bearings are enough or other parts are needed.

We assess such an upgrade case by case: it involves the motor, Fanuc parameters and lubrication. We prepare options for your machine.

Either the seals or the whole cylinder can be replaced. We select parts by the cylinder marking.
