DMG Mori spindle repair
Repair of DMU, NLX and NTX motor spindles in our workshop.
Parts by brand
The DMG Mori brand brings together two machine-building traditions: the German Deckel Maho and Gildemeister line and the Japanese Mori Seiki line. Both are widely used, from older DMU and DMC machines to current NLX and NTX models. We help you sort out which spindle your machine carries and source motor spindles, bearings, HSK clamping units and sensors for it.
Series and assemblies
DMU five-axis centres (monoBLOCK, eVo, duoBLOCK) use MASTER series motor spindles, speedMASTER for high speed and powerMASTER for heavy milling; older machines carry motor spindles of previous generations. Almost all of them use an HSK-A63 or HSK-A100 interface with through-spindle coolant.
NLX lathes have a built-in motor spindle and, in Y-axis versions, driven tools in the turret. CMX V vertical centres use a 40-taper spindle with drawbar, and NTX multitasking machines combine a turning spindle with a compactMASTER turn-mill spindle.
New, reconditioned or exchange motor spindle for DMU, DMC and NTX.
Collet clamping systems, drawbars, spring stacks and unclamping cylinders.
Hybrid and steel super-precision bearings, seal and labyrinth kits.
Main spindle bearings, position sensors, rotary unions and drawbar parts for CMX vertical centres.
How to order
On a DMU the motor spindle has its own identification number; on NLX and CMX machines the machine serial number is the key reference.
Send the machine plate and the motor spindle nameplate (unit number, speed, power). For NLX and CMX the machine plate is enough.
We compare a new unit, a reconditioned exchange unit and the repair of your own spindle.
We state the option, price and expected delivery time once availability is confirmed.
The spindle is run in on our test bench and shipped to you; installation at your site can be arranged.
Why us
Access to original units and the European parts market for German and Japanese series.
We tell Deckel Maho, Gildemeister and Mori Seiki spindles apart and select parts to match.
Motor spindles are bench-tested with temperature and vibration recorded.
Within the EU without customs paperwork; outside the EU we help with export documents.

FAQ
The motor spindle housing carries a plate with the unit number, which is often repeated in the machine documentation. If the plate is out of reach, the machine serial number helps.
Yes, a reconditioned or exchange unit is a common choice. It has the same specification and is run in before dispatch.
Most often the springs are fatigued or the collet is worn. We select the kit and check the clamping force after assembly.
Yes. For earlier generations we source original parts, European equivalents and reconditioned units.
It depends on the unit and the option chosen. We state it in the quote after checking availability.
Request
Send photos of the machine plate and the motor spindle nameplate. We reply with options and ship across Europe and worldwide.
